How do I set up ads on my website?

Modified on Fri, 28 Jun at 10:11 AM

Setting up ads on your website through Boxpressd Ad Network is a straightforward process. Follow the steps below to create zones (also called ad units) and add the necessary code to your site. For a detailed visual guide, you can also refer to our step-by-step video tutorial at the bottom of this page.

Step 1: Log In to Your Boxpressd Ad Network Account

  • Navigate to the Boxpressd Ad Network login page.
  • Enter your credentials to access your dashboard.

Step 2: Create a New Zone (Ad Unit)

  • Once logged in, go to "Websites" section and for the site you would like to add a code snippet to, click on the "Zones" icon on the right-hand side of the row.
  • Click on the "Create" button.
  • Choose the type of zone you want to create (e.g., banner, VAST, etc). Banner is the most common and covers both image and video ad types.
  • Fill in the required details for your ad unit:
    • Name: Give your ad unit a name for easy identification.
    • Size: Select the appropriate size for your ad unit (e.g., 300x250, 728x90).

Step 3: Generate Ad Code

  • After creating your zone, you will be provided with a snippet of code.
  • Copy this code to your clipboard.

Step 4: Add the Code to Your Website

  • Open the HTML file of the webpage where you want to display the ad.
  • Paste the copied ad code into the desired location within your HTML file. Typically, this will be within the <body> tags where you want the ad to appear. For WordPress sites, you can use your page builder or a plugin to add the code. For more details, see the video below.
  • Save your changes and upload the updated HTML file to your web server.

Step 5: Verify the Ad Display

  • Refresh your webpage to ensure the ads appear correctly.
  • If the ad doesn’t display immediately, please allow a few minutes for the changes to take effect.
